I wasn’t sure what to expect from Feld Entertainment’s latest live-action show, but Marvel Universe Live knocked it outta the park! My son is 5, and he and his 6-year-old buddy were totally thrilled with the production from start to finish. Thanks for the tickets, Feld Entertainment!

It was jam-packed with action for nearly two solid hours, and featured a storyline even young kids could follow. With all their favourite Marvel characters (both good and evil), the kids cheered and clapped the entire time.

There were constant pyrotechnics, aerial stunts, martial arts moves, motocross, and more. Honestly, I was amazed at the skill level of the actors — it was a lot of fun to watch. Not only that, but I was impressed by the attention to detail in both costume and body movement.

One  downside was that it was just so incredibly loud. A lot of kids had hands over their ears, my son included. But with ear protection for the loud parts, they’d miss the dialogue parts.

Tickets for seats with a good view were quite pricey, and merchandise prices, as at all shows, were crazy. These Spider-Man cups flip open, and were filled with Sno-Cones for a hefty $15 apiece.

Overall, though, I think it was a fantastic production, and highly recommend it for little superhero fans!
