There was breakfast in bed, and sleeping in past 7:30am.
There were handmade cards, thoughtful gifts and snuggles.
There was teppanyaki, burgers and onion rings, and an ice cream cake.
There was silliness and joy.
There was a great big blue sky filled with sunshine.
There were messages from friends.
There was gardening and swimming and errands and family time and movies and it was the best weekend ever.
I hope the rest of this year is as wonderful as the day that ushered it all in. My heartfelt thanks to each and every person who helped make my day so special. I’m a lucky gal.
