~CLOSED~ Monster Jam Toronto Ticket Giveaway!

The night we put an offer in on our new home was a stressful one. The house had been on the market for a month, and the owners had already reduced the price once, and we were coming in under asking. We adored the house, and were nervous, excited and hopeful. When the deal was finally accepted, we were elated! And we were also in a huge rush. Because we had been given tickets to Monster Jam in Toronto and Mason (who was just three years old at the time) was beyond excited to go. We hopped in the car, rushed downtown, and looked for parking everywhere. There was none. Anywhere. Ryan stayed in the car, and I took the kids into the show.

Monster Jam Toronto Ticket Giveaway

Here’s something I never, ever, ever expected to say: Monster Jam is amazingly fun. When we were invited to check out the Toronto Monster Jam show two years ago, I was … hesitant. It’s not really my thing to sit in an incredibly loud place with people screaming their heads off for giant trucks. I had already formed an opinion about what the whole experience would be like, and decided that nope, it wasn’t for us. But my little guy already loved all his Monster Jam truck toys, and was thrilled we’d been given tickets, so we gave it a shot. We loved the whole show.

The stunts, the fun, the sounds, all of it. There are people who cheer for their favourite trucks and drivers but the entire production is really quite something. It’s also REALLY REALLY LOUD. So wear ear protection — that’s something we didn’t do the first time around, and my poor kids spent three hours with their hands over their ears.

We weren’t able to make it to a show last year, and Mason never stopped talking about it. So when I was invited to go this year, I jumped at the chance — and then realized we can’t make it to the Toronto one this year, either. But I have tickets to give away, and that’s almost as good, right? (And we’ll take him to the Hamilton show in the spring … shh!)

You can buy tickets for the Toronto Monster Jam show HERE, but enter to win the ones I’m giving away, because the only thing more awesome than Monster Jam is FREE Monster Jam!
