Lock in Your Love for SickKids at Vaughan Mills
There are a lot of charities and causes asking for your dollars this time of year, I know that. We try to spread our support around, giving where and when we can, and that’s why I really love the gifts we can purchase that work double-duty by supporting charities.
You know our family especially loves SickKids — my son was a patient of their Allergy Clinic, and my daughter is a patient at the Cardiac Clinic, and countless friends have needed the care from the incredible staff there. The truth is, kids worldwide benefit from the cutting edge research and innovation done there. That’s why I’m more than happy to share this fundraising campaign for SickKids Foundation that Vaughan Mills has launched.
The #VMLoveLockWall is filled with locks people purchase with 100% of the proceeds going to SickKids.
With a lofty goal of raising $150,000 for SickKids, Vaughan Mills’ #VMLoveLockWall is a symbol of hope, bravery, and love.
Not only are 100% of the proceeds from the Love Lock Wall being donated to SickKids, 100% of the proceeds from Santa photos at Santa’s Tiny Big Town are also being donated to SickKids Foundation!
My kids and I attended the official media launch and were so touched by all the messages of love on the locks already purchased.
We added our own, sending love to all the kids spending the holidays at SickKids, to all those needing the love and care of SickKids, and to the families who have loved and lost. It’s a very touching display.
For just $15 (or two for $25), you can purchase a lock to add to the #VMLoveLockWall, and you’ll have your choice of a necklace (a “keypsake”) with a tag reading, “Best Friend”, “Hero”, “Love, or “Dream”. You can keep it, or give it as a gift.
They’re beautiful and meaningful, perfect for the holiday season. <3
