Healthy Habits for the New Year with Church & Dwight
I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions, really, but I do like the idea of a fresh slate. The holidays are so hectic (and let’s face it, often not the healthiest), that I find the return to routine refreshing and rejuvenating. It’s a great time to set new habits into motion, too.
Here are some easy steps I’m taking this year:
- Healthy homemade lunches: I admit it, lunch-making is tedious and annoying. But I’ve learned that the alternative (buying my lunches out, and paying for every “special” lunch delivery my kids’ school has to offer) is crazy-expensive and not the healthiest. So every Sunday, I take the time to cut up fruits and veggies, and meal-prep for the week. It makes lunch packing smooth and hassle-free, cheaper and MUCH healthier!
- Keep your hair healthy: Who has time to harass kids to shower these days? Thankfully, science is on our side… Washing your hair too frequently can strip out natural oils and cause split ends.
