The BiLLe Best Blogger Contest (Canada)

I don’t usually enter contests. What’s more, when I do enter, it’s rarely the ones that make us ask for votes. You know why? Because it’s insanely annoying being constantly bombarded with vote requests. I know. I know this.

But.

Alexandria for The BiLLe Blogger!

I entered The BiLLe’s Best Blogger Contest, and the grand prize is a blogging contract for a year worth ~$130,000CDN. (!!!) They asked what we’d do with $1B Euros and you know what? I made the most honest, true-to-me video I possibly could. And I really think I’d be the best blogger for them.

And I would also really, really love your votes.

Yep, I could register on some online site to garner anonymous votes from people hoping I’ll reciprocate and vote for their kid in some Facebook contest. Yup, I could buy votes. But I’ve never scammed the social media system so far, and even a sweet job like this one isn’t worth that price.

The reality is that I know I’m the best blogger for them because I’ve spent the last freaking decade building a network of people around me who know my talent is real, my opinions are honest, and my humour is the cleverest. I’ve got the language skills (mais oui), the communication skills, the social media savvy, the experience… I gots it all, baby.

(And I’m also modest, obvs.)

Plus if you vote for me? I’ll totally kiss you. I will!

Please?

pretty please?
