Spring hit my town a little earlier than normal, but I’m still itching for a warmer-weather getaway. My parents are in town, which means, hey, free babysitting and where better to escape sans kids than Vegas? I’ve never been, but look what popped up in my inbox:
Las Vegas, lovingly known as Sin City, is regarded as one of the top destinations for shopping, fine dining and nightlife – where everything is larger than life. What many travellers may not know is that Vegas is a hotspot on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) where visitors come to try their “luck of the Irish.”
Sounds good to me! I mean, I’m part Newfoundlander, and St. Paddy’s is a public holiday there, you know. Check out what Expedia’s got to offer this St. Patrick’s Day… who knows, maybe I’ll see you in Sin City?
For Canadians looking to get lucky this holiday, Expedia.ca has curated a list of four leaf clover-worthy St. Patrick’s Day attractions, activities and casinos in Las Vegas:
