Ohhh, man, this stuff is delicious, you guys. Finding snacks that are free of the top 8 allergens and taste good is difficult. There are dusty granola bars aplenty, but rarely something decadent like these free2b snacks.
Now, I’m not saying they’re healthy, but they’re not terrible for you! They’ve actually got less sugar than a lot of the regular sugar- and chemical-filled kids’ snacks, so they’re a healthier option, AND they taste like a treat.
They’re also free of the top 10 allergens in Canada: peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, soy, eggs, dairy, sesame, corn, coconut, mustard, fish, and shellfish, and they’re SO DELICIOUS OMG. They’re also kosher, non-GMO (verified!), Rainforest Alliance certified, and they’re basically perfect for me sneaking a snack after my kids to go sleep… er, I mean, as a nice surprise treat in my kids’ back-to-school lunches.
My kids and I tried the Snack Breaks, and, well, they didn’t last long around here. The chocolate is smooth and not waxy, and the flavours are fantastic. The Crush Peppermint Candies flavour was my son’s fave, but my daughter and I loved Blueberry Crunch and Roasted Pumpkin Seeds and Dried Cranberries ones.
They’re now on the perms-snack list. Yummmmm. (And you know what? free2b products are currently stocked at Shopper’s Drug Mart, so they’re easy to find.)
I cannot wait to try the Sun Cups and Mint Cups when they’re available in Canada because omg just look at them!
The best part of this post is that if you wanna try them, I’ve got a prize pack for one lucky winner! There are two packages of each of the three Snack Breaks flavours in there for you; approximate retail value is $50.
Good luck, and may the delicious (and safe!) snacks be with you.
